June 13th Event Celebrating the Past Women Of Benton
Join us for a day of fun, frivolity and history as we explore Benton and the women that have shaped it. We will be kicking off our day at Noon and want everyone feeling inspired to come dressed in the style of your favorite decade. The Historic buildings will be open for touring from 12pm-1:30pm. There will be Classic Car rides available, and Informative talks on various local subjects, in addition to "Horse" racing, Costume contest, a Scavenger Hunt, and Poker Tournament (prizes for the winners will be awarded silver bars). All proceeds go to our Non- Profit Partner. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase in the Old Kitchen, which is located in the back of the Wai-We-Ra Hotel. Silent Auction items will be displayed and available for bidding on in front of the General Store for most of the day. Finally, we will wrap up the evening with an appetizer & cocktail hour during the last of the historical women presentations, and then the Silent Auction winners will be announced during dinner. General Admission: 30.00 Dollars to enter the grounds and be able to take part in the afternoon activities and events. Dinner And General Admission: 125.00 Dollars which includes all day access and dinner. Children under 12 are free!
